Life In Real Time

Projects I Am Behind On:
-ORCA project
-MA reading list

Issues With Getting Things Done:
-Hanging out instead of working
-Thinking I have more time than I really do
-Loss of interest

-Lack of moral support (mostly for the road trips-- I can't do them alone)
-Sleeping in too late, staying up too late, repeat
-Fickleness, Timidity, etc

Goals for the summer:
-Read books for fun
-Read books off of the MA reading list
-Work
-Weigh less than Travis (it's an old goal, but it's a fun one, and near impossible since he is constantly losing weight himself)

-Finish ORCA grant (by June, actually)
-Write the musical with Tasch and Bobby
-Finally write a breadbox story
-At least one road trip, even if it's just to St George for a day or two

Issues to overcome to accomplish these goals:
-laziness
-forgetting about them
-finding motivation
-apathy
-creating new goals in the moment
-not taking them seriously
-giving up
-Writer's block
-falling into a coma
-relapsing into an analphabet stage of life
-sudden amnesia

Books on my Summer Reading List (So Far):
-The Handmaid's Tale (done)
-He's Just Not That Into You (done)
-Love in the Time of Cholera (a little over a 1/3 of the way through this already)
-Les Lettres Persanes

-Le Rouge et le Noir
-Lots of cookbooks (Julia Child, Martha Stewart, etc)
